Why do I need a diving insurance?

 

Diving fascinates many people all over the world. However, not everyone thinks about the fact that diving (as with any other sports) also involves risks.

If an accident occurs, the resulting costs are often very high and are usually not covered by your regular health or travel insurance. Only a few insurance companies cover the cost for medical treatment, physical therapy or rehabilitation and above all the hyperbaric chamber treatments due to a diving accident.

To avoid being stuck with these costs, it is advisable to get a diving insurance just in case.
